What is climate change?
It is an alteration of the natural climatic cycles as
a consequence of Man’s actions, who from the beginning of the industrial
revolution has constantly burned fossil fuels emitting
greenhouse gases, among which, the principal one is
carbon dioxide (CO2).
When these gases reach the higher stratum of the atmosphere
they form a layer which retains solar radiation and
cause an increase in the Earth’s temperature.
This global warming is provoking exceptional climate
phenomena all over the planet, with very serious
consequences for every living organism.
In the fight against climate change,
actions directed to the reduction
of CO2 emissions, play a fundamental role in
counteracting the problem
of global warming
on the Earth.
